Move your number from RingCentral to Tonet

How to port your number out of RingCentral to Tonet. The company name, address and Super Admin to use, the PIN to enter, and the steps.

Last updated on

To move a RingCentral number to Tonet, you need three details exactly as they appear in your RingCentral account: the company name, the service address and the name of a Super Admin. RingCentral doesn't issue personal port-out PINs. If a PIN is asked for, it says to use 0000. Then fill in Manage › Phones › Port a Number in Tonet, and keep your RingCentral account active until the number has moved.

Pick Landline for RingCentral numbers

RingCentral says its numbers are classified as wireline, and it can't change that. In Tonet's form, pick Landline for each RingCentral number, or Toll free for a toll-free one.

Is there a port-out lock?

RingCentral doesn't describe one. It has no personal port-out PIN: a Super Admin's name and the account details authorize the move.

Does RingCentral charge to port out?

No. RingCentral doesn't charge a port-out fee. You still pay for RingCentral service until the port completes.

Keep your RingCentral account active until the port finishes

  • The numbers must be active with RingCentral for the port to go through.
  • After the numbers have moved, contact RingCentral support to cancel your service and stop its charges.

When a port-out starts, RingCentral swaps temporary numbers into your RingCentral account in place of the numbers that are moving. Any call handling rule that uses a moving number gets the temporary number instead. Before you submit, take the moving numbers out of your RingCentral call handling rules.
