Yealink T54W Configuration

The T54W has a 4.3" adjustable color screen, built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, 10 line keys, and HD voice. It connects via WiFi or Ethernet, which makes it a good fit for desks without a network cable nearby.

This is one of the phones available pre-configured from tonet.ai/desk-phones (opens in a new tab).

SIP Registration

If you purchased the T54W from Tonet, it arrives pre-configured and ready to use. Just plug in the ethernet cable or connect to WiFi and it will register automatically.

For phones purchased elsewhere, follow these steps:

  • Find the IP address of your phone. Press the OK button on the navigation pad to enter the menu.

  • Go to Status. The phone's IP address is displayed under IPv4.

  • Take note of the IP address.

  • Open a web browser on your computer and type the phone's IP address in the address bar.

  • Log in to the phone's web interface. The default username and password is admin / admin.

  • Navigate to Account and select Account 1 (or Register).

  • Set Line Active to Enabled and fill out the following fields with the credentials you received from Tonet support:

    • Display Name - Your name or extension label
    • Register Name - Your SIP username
    • User Name - Your SIP username
    • Password - Your SIP password
    • Server Host - Your Tonet SIP server address
  • Set NAT to STUN and set the STUN Server to: stun.tonet.ai

  • Click Confirm to save.

  • The Register Status should change to "Registered". If it does not, reboot the phone from Settings > Upgrade > Reboot.

WiFi Setup

If you are connecting the T54W over WiFi instead of Ethernet:

  • On the phone, go to Menu > Basic > Wi-Fi.
  • Enable WiFi and scan for available networks.
  • Select your network and enter the password.
  • Once connected, the phone will get an IP address and you can proceed with SIP registration above.
